19-year old drug courier, 2 minors nabbed drug ops

Authorities arrested a 19-year-old suspected drug courier and two minors in a drug bust-bust operation in Macanhan Barangay Carmen on Tuesday.

Latip Agao and his two companions, both 17-years-old were arrested by the operatives of station 2 Cogon together with Task Force Oro and yielded 5 grams of suspected shabu worth P40,000.

Police Officer 3 Rex Tenio, of police station 2 said Agao allegedly sold a sachet of shabu worth P200 pesos to a poseur-buyer that led to his arrest.

“Actually mga runner ra ni sila kay mao ni ang modus sa mga drug pusher, mga minor ilang ipahatag,” added Tenio.

Agao according to Tenio has been doing this kind of illegal activity for a long time based on their intelligence report and monitoring.

Meanwhile, police arrested three drug suspects in a joint anti-drug operation in Barangay Macabalan at about 11:30 pm, Monday.

Arrested were Dan Dalman, his wife Juliet Maandig and Mc Steve Virtudazo, all residents of Piaping Itum, Barangay Macabalan.

Seized from Dalman who was a Tokhang surrenderee  were 18 sachets of shabu weighing 18 grams worth P90,000.

Police Chief Insp. Ernesto Daing, chief of police station 5, Macabalan said Dalman was included in the list of top drug personalities operating in brgy. Macabalan.

The search warrant for the operation was issued by Judge Richard Mordeno of RTC Branch 41 and witnessed by barangay officials. (with reports from a.l. ricalde)
