LIBONA, Bukidnon – Due to the strict implementation of Oplan Tokhang in Barangay Gango, Libona, Bukidnon 236 suspected drug users and pushers surrendered to this Barangay’s Chairman Iliazr P. Ibona last month.
Libona Mayor Leonardo Genesis T. Calingasan and P/Insp. Peter Tajur received the 236 drug user including 6 female at Barangay Gango Gym and were made to sign an agreement that they will stop all illegal drug activities.
To further curb illegal drug activities in his town Calingasan has announced a cash reward to anyone who could give information of the whereabouts of drug personalities in the province whom have yet to surrender to authorities.
Authorities and officials urge other drug personalities to surrender to clear his/her name in the watch list.
Pastor Lapis was also present to give spiritual advice to the 236 surrenderers.
