Alam Lim is still Padayon bet: Dacer

THE Padayon Pilipino is not letting go of Councilor Yan Lam Lim that easily. The Barangay 40 chairman is still its top candidate in next month’s elections of the Liga ng mga Barangay here, former councilor Alexander Dacer said over the weekend.

Dacer pointed out that Lim is still considered a member of the Padayon Pilipino, and that the reelectionist Liga ng mga Barangay president has merely forged a political alliance with the group of Mayor Oscar Moreno.

Dacer also said Lim has not joined the administration PDP-Laban.

Mayor Oscar Moreno earlier announced that Lim would be his group’s candidate for president of the Liga.

The announcement came shortly after Lim announced his decision to sever his ties with the Padayon Pilipino so he could join Moreno’s group.

Dacer said it would be advantageous for the Padayon Pilipino to have a common candidate for Liga president.
