POLICE yesterday intensified security operations as it increased the alert level in Region 10 from “3” to “4” ahead of the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day celebrations. Supt. Lemuel Gonda, Camp Alagar spokesman, said the police have put in place security measures as thousands of Roman Catholic devotees are expected to participate in the nine-day Misa de Gallo across northern Mindanao.
