Four persons including a mother and a couple listed number two in Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (Badac) watch list were arrested during a series of buy-bust operation in Macabalan police station Thursday.

Senior Insp. Gerry Ligan identified the suspect couple as Dave, 36 and Charielyn Gonzales, 33 of Sitio Barra, Macabalan; Mirasol Sevilla-Duterte, 30 years-old and a resident of Block A Accretion, Mabacabalan and Jimnel Nacalaban alias Opaw, 32 years old and a resident Barra, Macabalan.

PO3 Nolasco Gaabu-cayan said they received a call from a resident that a certain Mirasol was seen selling illegal drugs in the accretion Macabalan prompted the police operatives to respond.

He said when they checked the list of Tokhang responders, Mirasol was among those who availed the first batch last month. Recovered from the possession of Mirasol were two P100 bills used as marked money and two sachets of suspected shabu.

Police conducted a check in her residence and found many volume of assorted battery truck, multicab and motorcycles in the vicinity. They are still conducting a check if the items were stolen.

Gaabucayan said they also arrested Nacalaban while conducting Operation Tokhang in the area of Sitio Barra who suspectedly sells illegal drugs.

Recovered from his possession were 16 empty rectangular sachets suspected to be used for shabu, three lighters and thee rectangular sachets of suspected shabu.

Ligan said while they are conducting Operation Tokhang along with Macabalan barangay chairman Norbel Saa they saw the couple in their house while having a pot session.

Meanwhile, Puerto Police Station No. 6 has arrested a suspected drug pusher during a buy-bust operation in Zone 5, barangay Puerto on Thursday evening.

Senior Insp. Ian Borrinaga, Puerto police chief identified the suspect as Joel Arawni, 32  years old and a resident of the area.

Recovered from the possession of the suspect is .38 caliber revolver and two sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia. Arawni was already imprison for homicide and was release after serving several years in prison.

A day before, operatives of the DMD under the direct supervision of Chief Insp. Harvey S. Abellanosa, along with elements of PS4 and PS6 conducted a buy-bust operations in Balite, Zone 6, Bugo, this city.

The composite team arrested alleged notorious drug pusher known in the area as Jeffrey Wahing, 27, resident of the area. Also arrested was his alleged courier from neighboring Tagoloan town, Misamis Oriental known as Bobby Naelga, 35, married, and a resident of El Mundo, Natumolan, Tagoloan town.

Recovered from both drug suspects were two P100 bills which was used as marked money, three packs of transparent heat-sealed sachets containing white crystals suspected to be shabu, and various drug paraphernalia. The alleged shabu confiscated weighed 10 grams with an estimated worth of P20 thousand.

The successful buy-bust operation was properly coordinated with Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 10).
