THE body of the late former mayor Pablo “Ambing” Magtajas would be brought to city hall tomorrow and remain there until the interment on Monday afternoon.
City hall yesterday announced that a mass and necrological services for the late former mayor would be held at its mini-park in front of the Executive House on Sunday starting at 5:30 pm.
He would remain there until the Monday funeral.
The remains of the former mayor would be brought to the St. Augustine Cathedral, and he would be subsequently laid to rest beside his wife Anita’s grave at the Greenhills Memorial Park on Monday afternoon.
Magtajas, the longest serving mayor of Cagayan de Oro, died of cardiac arrest while under intensive care at the Cagayan de Oro Medical Center on Monday night. He was 77. (nitz arancon)
