It’s time to start thinking about going back to school again! You’re maybe feeling excited and a little bit sad because summer is over. Some are feeling nervous or scared on the first day of school because of their new teachers, new friends, and maybe even a new school. So while you are certainly enjoying the time you have before school starts, here are some tips in getting your brain in gear to prepare the best start of school year:

Prepare your school supplies

Always prepare things up, list down the important things that you need to buy like: A backpack with comfortable shoulder straps, papers, notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil case, erasers, folders and other paper organizers to make your things stay organized. I highly suggest you to buy sticky notes or planner to list down the things that your teacher might require.

Prepare your clothes

Start buying uniforms that are a little bit larger, so that it can be used next school year and to avoid growth spurts. The more uniforms you buy, less washing through the week. Never buy bigger shoes. Although it can be practical to size up so that shoes last longer but the fact is that if your shoes are too big, it can cause bad walking habits and even injury. Make sure there’s space between the tip of the shoe and the tip of your longest toe, about the width of your thumb and make sure the heel should stay comfortably in place.

Establish a routine

If you’re used to going to bed late at night during summer this may be one of the reasons why it’s hard for you to fall asleep on the night before the first day of school. You need to prepare in advance and make sure to have a relaxing evening so that you’ll be able to fall asleep and to wake up feeling refreshed and ready for your big day. Establish a routine to sleep 8 o’clock in the evening and wake up 6 o’clock in the morning. If you get into the same sleeping and waking routine at least a few days before the first day of school, then it’ll be much easier for you to fall asleep at the right time.

Participating in tutorial classes

As a parent, your goal is to help your child succeed in life. It is important that your child can learn how to write, read and count. And of course through tutorial classes your children might learn how to be confident and active in their classes. Preparation and organizing things can ensure you to have a smooth planning to the start of the new school year. I hope this tips might help you prepare before the school year starts. Have a vibrant day!
