MISAMIS Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano yesterday ordered the full implementation of the national smoking ban in the compounds of capitolun hospitals and public plazas even as he called on restaurants, hotels and similar establishments in the province to provide designated areas for smokers.
Emano said his order is in line with President Durerte’s executive order that strictly regulates smoking. The President’s order took effect this week.
The governor also directed the capitol’s guards to implement the smoking ban at the capitol grounds. (edwin iyo)
