ILIGAN City–The Commis-sion on Elections (Comelec) office on Roxas Avenue here was ransacked by unidentified persons on Thursday.
Police said the break-in was reported by Evan Baylon Eras, a Comelec employee, who was the first to report for work.
Eras said she found office tables and drawers opened, and some documents were in disarray.
Authorities said a computer set, wire, and some cash, rice and coffee supplies were missing.
Investigators said they suspected that the suspects broke un through a small opening at the back of the office. (nora sorino and sita asequia)
