Being the country’s longestunning and multi-awarded gag show, GMA Network’s Bubble Gang continues to deliver world-class and extraordinary entertainment to Filipino viewers for more than two decades now.
The Kapuso program is still the Filipinos’ favourite comedy program because of its unique, amusing and one-of-a-kind parodies, sketches and gags about television commercials, famous personalities and current events.
As it celebrates its 23rd anniversary, Bubble Gang will present a narrative uniquely intertwining the show’s popular segment forms –talk, interview, musical parody, sketches, commercial spoof and gag dubbed as ‘Bente Tres Oras’.
This year’s TV special tells the adventures of Bea Bangenge (Michael V.) and Toto Batoto (Antonio Aquitania) as they embark on a journey to find a WIFI connection for Bea.
On their trip, they will meet famous Bubble Gang characters such as Antonietta, Don Cantoni, Mr.Assimo, Tata Lino, the Balitang Ina hosts, Lebrown James and many more.
For Kapuso comedy genius Michael V., Bubble Gang’s loyal viewers have always been their inspiration in creating new and latest gags and sketches.
“The change in Bubble Gang is constant because of the continuous change in the audience profile. Pero it’s a good change, as always. I learn new things from them. For me, that is always a challenge and it’s also a good thing kasi nakakadagdag ito sa kaalaman ko bilang isang comedian,” he said.
