Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental — A police team here arrested a bus conductor for abandoning his girlfriend and their child years ago in Valencia City, Bukidnon.
Chief Insp. Duyle Vembu Buenaflor, Magsaysay town chief of police, identified the bus conductor as Alemar Pajaron, of legal age, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Artade, here.
He was arrested with pending warrant of arrest of the Criminal Case Number 24050- 13 issued by Judge Isobel G. Barroso of RTC Branch 8 in Malaybalay City for alleged violation of Republic Act 9262 otherwise known as The Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children VAWC, said Buenaflor
“Ang bus conductor gipasakaan og kaso sa iyang uyab human kini mibiya nga aduna ilang anak didto sa Valencia City niadtong tuig 2013,” Buenaflor said.
The bus conductor is currently detained at the Magsaysay Police mini jail while waiting his bail bond of P60,000.
Bachelor Express Incorporation based in Butuan City will conduct an investigation on Pajaron, according to Susan Severino, Bus Company Human Resource Head.
“If found guilty the bus company will decide whether to terminate his employment or not,” she said.
Severino added that the incident happened before Pajaron became their conductor.
“Amo siya gidawat a year ago sa kumpletong requirement sama sa NBI,” she said.
