THE capitol marks today the 4th anniversary of Misamis Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano’s pet health care program.
Sen. Cynthia Villar has been invited the grace the 4th anniversary of the Misorcare that would be celebrated in Lagonglong town.
The Misorcare program has been implemented in the province to provide free hospitalization of beneficiaries or at least significantly reduce their medical bills.
But through the program, the capitol has also been able to provide free embalming and transportation services, and other aid for grieving families.
Capitol spokesperson Nicole Managbanag said Lagonglong was chosen as the venue for the celebration because the provincial government has yet to conduct a “Barangay Bambi” outreach in the 1st District town of the province.
The outreach brings the capitol’s dental, medical and legal services to the towns.
Managbanag said Villar was invited to grace the celebration because she has been supporting programs of Emano. (shiela mae butlig)
