The provincial government would give the education department in the province P3.35 million to shoulder the costs of the Brigada Eskwela activities, capitol spokesperson Nicole Managbanag announced yesterday.

The Brigada Eskwela is scheduled from May 28 to June 2.

Managbanag said Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano would personally give the money to Misamis Oriental schools division  superintendent Randolph Tartola  on Monday. The fund would come from the capitol’s local school board fund.

She said the amount would be divided and set aside for public schools in the towns of Balingasag, Kinoguitan, Lagonglong, Magsaysay, Medina, Salay, Sugboncogon, Talisayan, Alubijid, Claveria, Initao, Jasaan, Laguindingan, Libertad, Lugait, Manticao, Naawan, Opol, Tagoloan and Villanueva.

It was learned that the Tagoloan Central School would receive P200 thousand while Libertad Central School would get P150 thousand.

“Di na kinahanglan mag-amuta ang mga ginikanan karon pag-abli sa klase para palit pintal ug unsa pa diha kay naa nay budget para ana,” said Managbanag.
