BUTUAN City — Police in different areas in separate buy-bust and raids in Caraga Region arrested six drug personalities and confiscated a total of P562,900 worth of suspected shabu, an official report from Police Regional Office 13 emailed to Gold Star Daily yesterday morning reads.
Here in Butuan City, operatives conducted a buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of George Gulmatico, 29.
Confiscated from Gulmatico were 16 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 30 grams worth P354,000.
Another buy-bust operation netted Freddie Consuegra, 41, and Jingle Tillo, 31 inside Bee-Hub Inn in Surigao City. Confiscated during the operation were eight sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 15 grams and Dangerous Drug Board value of P177,000 and illegal drug paraphernalia.
In Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, police arrested Rex Anub, 40, and his wife Marieta Anub, 42, both residents of Brgy. Victory, Tubay, Agusan del Norte. Confiscated from them were nine sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 2.5 grams valued at P29,500.
Police also arrested Christian Wayne Jumao-as who yielded four sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 0.20 gram valued at P2,400.
All suspects have been placed under the custody of the arresting units, the PRO 13 official report reads.
