“The old order changeth, yielding place to new.” – Tennyson, The passing of Arthur

LIKE it or not, 2016 is the year of change. But, we, Mindanaoans and the rest of the poor in our country cannot afford to be complacent because, for us, it is now or never. Remember that while Mindanao is the second largest island in the entire archipelago we never had a President of our country. Ever since 1935 when our country was allowed to elect our public officials by Imperial Manila, represented by the trapos and the filthy rich, they have treated us as mere second class citizens unworthy of leadership. In fact, of the 15 elected presidents, 12 presidents came from Imperial Manila, three from the proud islands of the Visayas and not even one from the breadbasket and paradise-like islands of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi.

Shame on us?

Honestly, It is now or never for us, Mindanaoans and the teeming millions of those who have almost nothing in life. And, yet, the arrogant and the shameless Imperial Manila wants us all to continue with the infamous natuwad s dalan of selective justice as well as  more money and power to the elitist few who are now imbedded in government worse than barnacles of sunken ships. And, because the money of the poor are in the soiled hands of the Liberal Party, the trapos and the filthy rich, they believe that they can still buy and cheat their ways as they have done so in perpetuity; perhaps, forgetting for a flitting moment that money and power can never buy happiness, the ultimate reason why God, in His infinite wisdom, had to send His only Son to restore sanity and happiness to all of mankind.

But, enough is enough! Imperialism by our very own brothers, sisters and the LGBTs must end pronto.

And as a fair warning to all the greedy in the government, the few chosen elitist- cronies, who have cornered giant government projects, Mindanaoans have reached the limit of their excruciating journey in this valley of tears. And, the spontaneous birth of Barug Pederal Mindanao (BPM-DC), a group of Mindanaoans, their relatives and friends all over the country, who have voluntarily answered the call by Team Duterte-Cayetano to the much needed change, from the old order of Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich to the iridescent dream to have a President from the paradise-like islands of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi.

BPM-DC is a group of patriotic and ordinary citizens who have freely and voluntarily formed themselves unlike the well-entrenched yet highly immoral political machineries of the past and the present as well as the  much discredited natuwad nga dalan of the Liberal Party and its tentacles. Ours is a humble group of ordinary mortals who have decided to make a difference. Unlike the other traditional political machineries that are funded by the candidates themselves, ours put up what little we have through the newly found hand-to-mouth generosity where each one of us share what little we have for the noble cause of electing the Team Duterte-Cayetano through our very own selfless contributions. By so doing, we would be able to make a complete turn-around of the nauseating Philippine political scheme of buying the votes of the sovereign with their own money, as perpetually done since time immemorial.

The cynics and the trapos think this can never ever happen in their life time. But, we honestly believe that our dream has come true. And, while it may be easier said than done, it can be done.

And, it is now or never.

Duterte-Cayetano pa more!

Tsada, di ba?

“Caution is the eldest child of wisdom.”– Victor Hugo

Change was inevitable in our city of golden friendship in the May 2013 elections due to the glaring and incontrovertible facts, thus:

  • At that time, while former City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Emano was healthy and strong by all indications, Kagay-anon have had enough of his consuming arrogance cum ignorance in running a booming city under a true democratic way of life.
  • At the start of the traditional Misa de Gallo among Catholics on early dawn of Dec. 16, 2011, tropical typhoon Sendong unleashed its fury and destroyed millions of properties even as it ruthlessly drowned hundreds upon hundreds of the poor Kagay-anons who lived by the river banks of the Cagayan de Oro River. But what was unconscionable and unforgivable was the desecration of the dead by order of then-mayor Emano to have them lined up on the street not far from the landfill of the City of Cagayan de Oro.

Lastly, the never-ending blatant violation of the law on bidding of infrastructure projects and awarded to perceived dummies if not, crony corporations of then-mayor Emano.

Consequently, erstwhile mayor Emano was punished by Kagay-anons by a humiliating defeat at the hands of his former protégé, through the unexpected fullest support on the last 10 days prior to elections by the wellesoected, if not loved, Rodriguez siblings: Congressmen Rufus and Maxie of the 2nd district and the Abamin party-list respectively as well as Bebot, the  chairperson of the huge Barangay Nazareth. And, the rest is the short transition of leadership in our city. As we all know by now, before the end of his short term of office, the Ombudsman made it shorter by dismissing Oscar Moreno from the service.

Of course, the verdict is not yet final. But, based on law, the dismissal order has no other way to go but finality of the said dismissal in due time.

And, precisely because of this, wisdom demands that Kagay-anons end the unpalatable transition a City Mayor who cannot trust the City Council. The Local Government Code gives the City Mayor no other choice but to work with the local legislators. And, since both our dismissed, transition and hambuguero executive and the clown-cilors arrogantly defy our Local Government Code, Kagay-anons are mandated to have a complete change on May 9, 2016.

Team Robust Rufus Harus pa more!

Tsada, di ba.
