“Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused by licentiousness” – Washington

EVERYBODY knows that our country’s main problem is definitely not PNoy but our system of government. But certainly, PNoy enjoys our systemic woes because it makes him on top of everything. Even when he bungled the Mamasapano brutal massacre of our 44 valiant SAF commandos all for the fantasy of winning the Nobel Peace, Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich  pretended not to have heard about it.

As the filing of the certificates of candidacy for the national and local elections on May 09, 2016 is fast approaching, I dare say, it is high time, we, the poor, stood and rise. We have to or more of the same if not worst, will continue to rule this country.

Enough of the roadblocks to the New Order!

As I’ve written in this column the other day, our only way out of this quicksand of the culture of impunity is the calling of the Constitutional Convention by our Congress. Or we, the poor Pinoys, will exercise our constitutional right to alter and overhaul this 1987 Cory Constitution not only for our children and loved ones. But also for PNoy.

Ever since former President GMA changed the rules of the presidency without changing our Constitution, after the end of every President’s reign, the Veterans’ Memorial Hospital awaits him with certainly. Sadly for GMA, she was the first victim of her own arbitrary abuse of our systemic problem. And if the Liberal Party hierarchy are truly putting their pockets to what they’re singing now, they better think of their children and their loved ones while they still have the time. Otherwise, PNoy and the rest of the untouchables will follow the GMA nightmares even during daytime.

The rich and powerful have always conveniently taken undue advantage of the due process clause of our constitutions. In fact, they have made it the fountainhead of impunity instead of the bedrock of democracy. I would like to believe that not a single constitutional commissioner of the present Constitution ever dreamt that such bedrock of Philippine democracy would be turned against the very sovereign Filipino people.

But the rich and powerful allies of PNoy and the Liberal Party bigwigs have become the untouchables. But not for long. So, if they have someone to love and care for other than themselves, I suggest that they start doing the right thing now. Ensure the holding of a simultaneous Constitutional Convention and the national and local elections or the poor will, without a doubt, rise and exercise their constitutional right to alter and overhaul the 1987 Constitution with tough-talking and wellespected Davao Mayor, Rodrigo “Super Digong” Duterte as our President of the country on May 09, 2016, or the first-ever President of the Independent Federal Republic of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi.

Mark my word. No one but the Lord, our God, knew that the People Power would take place in 1986.

Sobra ka na, Imperial Manila. Sa Mindanao na sab ta.

Tsada, di ba?

“Bad laws are the worst sort of tyranny.” -Burke

The President in collaboration with Congress made history in unseating the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Renato Corona, in just three months or so. Are we, the poor Pinoys, made to believe that the trial and conviction of a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is more important than the very lives of the teeming millions of poor Pinoys in Mindanao and elsewhere in the country, the 44 valiant SAF commandos slaughtered at the altar of the BBL and the Nobel Peace fantasy spawned by bootlickers in the snake-pit, and, the 58 journalists and the lawyers, whose lives were cut short in broad daylight? Certainly not! A big and resounding no is our unequivocal answer.

Right now, the Bigger House in Congress is busy hiding the “pork” in the gargantuan budget for their campaign kitty for the forthcoming elections. The 21 remaining republics in the Senate are looking for ways how to increase their media mileage for the national elections and making certain the digital dagdag-bawas, otherwise known as the PCOS machines, would be allowed to duplicate its cheating big time and not a whimper would be heard.

PNoy, the Liberals, Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich, think. All we, the poor, can do right now is to remind them all that God is good and His will be done on May 9, 2016––like it or not.

Unless PNoy, the Liberals, the trapos and the filthy rich make sure that the Constitutional Convention is held simultaneously with the May 9, 2016 national and local elections, 1986 People Power is going to happen with Duterte as President of our country or the first-ever President of the Independent Federal Republic of Mindanao-Sulu-Palawan-Tawi-Tawi.

Tsada, di ba?

“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do to me.” –Psalms LVI. 11

Thank you Lord for everything. And Lord God, kindly implant in our leaders honesty, humility, transparency and hard work in their solemn task as our servants-leaders because those who have less in life are the sovereign and very source of their borrowed power and wealth. Finally, Lord, enlighten us all to see the light that greed is a flawed way of life. For truly, there is more profit in giving than in taking. For it is in giving that we receive. Truly, love begets love. Amen!
