“Constitutions should consist only of general provisions; the reason is that they must be permanent, and that they cannot calculate for the possible change of things.” –Alexander Hamilton

EVERYBODY knows but the “martial law babies” that the 1987 Constitution needs an absolute overhaul. And because it was drafted by the chosen few elites by Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich through the late President Cory, necessarily all the safeguards are for the affluent and not for the teeming millions who are poor, deprived and oppressed. We are not, however, rendered without recourse.

Because God is good, we all know as well that our late well-loved president Cory was not elected via the Comelec but was installed by People Power. Ergo, our only consolation is that we know only too well that we have the power and the prerogative to disregard all together the 1987 Constitution, if necessary, as it was in 1986.

So far, all our efforts on Charter Change fell on deaf ears. Both PNoy and our greedy “riding in tandem” legislators are more concerned with idea of having all the money they need to buy the reelection and those of their chosen heirs, as though they own our land.

But enough is enough!

This is our last and final demand to the executive department headed by PNoy, and the legislative department, co-chaired by Senator Drilon and Congressman Belmonte: Call a “Concon” simultaneously with the May 9, 2016 elections or expect a perfected People Power only in Mindanao on May 9, 2016.

We, the poor, the deprived and the oppressed can do it by simply submitting a pseudo presidential candidate for the PDP and/or the CDP and substitute him in the most appropriate time. Or in the language of Tinidora of the Aldub nation phenomenon, “Sa tamang panahon.”

If you have any doubt of the teleserye’s unimaginable power now sweeping the country, ask yourself, why you think “Tito Sen” tops all the senatorial wannabes, and all the announced trapo presidentiables are elbowing each other for the most expensive 15-30 second space every noon time, Mondays to Saturdays. But because karma is the most unwelcome visitor to the greedy, their expensive ads which are definitely annoying to the “Aldub nation” would hurt them all the more instead of what they are paying for.  Hence, all those harassments to the common tao during their most precious time: watching the teleserye will definitely backfire on them “sa tamang panahon.”

But a wrong can never right another wrong. Hence, the poor of today, have no other alternative but to do it right. After all, we, the poor, deprived and the oppressed Mindanaoans are not only innovative but intuitive as well.

To make sure that May 9, 2016 will be the dawning of the New Order, we shall see to it that all the slots in the 2016 national and local elections will be completely filled up by PDP and/or CDP candidates, from President, Vice President, 12 senators, congressmen, mayors and governors down to the last municipal councilors. We have more than enough highly deserving but poor Mindanaoans. We will prove to the world that the only way to achieve the desired equality and prosperity among all is to ensure that we will have gifted servant-leaders who come from the poor for only the poor, the deprived and the oppressed are the genuine generous people.

Of course, this is better said than done. But there is always a first time.

For the nth time, permit me to remind one and all that People Power came at a time when Imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich were all trembling in fear of losing not their loved ones but their worldly possessions: their money in the banks and extracurricular activities. While there was almost absolute control by the conjugal dictatorship of Ferdinand E. Marcos and his beautiful wife of the military, the police, the Cafgus and all the cheating machines, yet the warm bodies of the poor, the deprived and the oppressed installed a mere housewife who turned out to be our well-beloved President for all time.

In the coming elections, we, the poor, the deprived and the oppressed will prove that the righteous can win without spending for their elections. Our own money stolen from government coffers by the trapos, the filthy rich and  Imperial Manila will flood the streets and provide the poor, the deprived and the oppressed with food and shelter but, not their votes.

Just you watch and see.

Because our 1987 Constitution is a creation of the affluent, the hand-picked framers of the constitution made sure that the Comelec becomes the satellite of the President and the Congress instead of being the vanguard for free, honest, transparent and credible elections.

Why do I say this?

We all know that the leader of a country defines and rules a country. And, “xxx Sovereignty resides in the people and all government authority emanates from them.”[Sec. 1, Article II]. However, the 1987 Constitution made sure that only the affluent and the cheat can exclusively rule our country to the exclusion of the righteous but poor leaders. And, I say so, because The Comelec merely “xxx Enforce and Administer all laws and regulations relative to the conduct of an election, plebiscite, initiative, referendum and recall.” [Sec. 2, Article IX]. But, the Comelec is not vested with power to make our elections free, honest, transparent and credible. On the other hand, the few elite framers of our constitution vested the President, the Legislature and Judiciary powers even as they made the Comelec only the executioner of their debilitating greed.

Here’s why:

Our 1987 Constitutions says: “The executive power shall be vested in the President of the Philippines [Sec. 1, Article VII]; The legislative power shall be vested in the Congress of the Philippines, xxx” [Sec. 1. Art. VI]; and, “The Judicial Power shall be vested in one Supreme Court and such lower courts as may be established by law.” [Sec. 1. Article VII]. On the other hand, the Comelec is merely made to “Enforce and administer all laws and regulations relative to the conduct of an election, plebiscite, initiative, referendum and recall.” [Sec. 2, Article IX]. Why not use the word: “vested” as they used the same word for the Executive, Legislative and the Judiciary, instead of just making the Comelec enforcers of you know what?

Clearly, therefore, there is absolute need for a Concon. But if they shall not heed our call, then they are giving us no other alternative but to fire them and enforce a revolutionary government just like they did during the time of our most beloved former President Cory––but they betrayed her in the end.

With a revolutionary government under “Super Digong,” we shall attain our dream of dreams.

Tsada, di ba?
