A 20-year-old suspect was arrested by authorities for a rape case yesterday at 11:40 am.
Police Major Erwin Naelga of Maramag Police Station identified the suspect as Nheljay Bert Haro single, and a resident of Purok 2B, Barangay Dangawan, Maramag of the said province.
The suspect, who was tagged by the police as the 8th most wanted person in the province, was arrested at Purok 1, North Poblacion of the said municipality.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued on August 26, 2021, for the crime of rape.
The court did not allow the suspect to post a bail bond for his supposed temporary freedom.
The suspect is now temporarily detained at the Maramag police mini-cell for proper disposition.
