THE proposed establishment of a new City Memorial Park was discussed by the City Council committee on urban and rural poor and housing development chaired by Councilor Zaldy Ocon.
During the meeting recently, Ocon stressed that two years had passed since the proposal was made and still no new memorial park has been established.
According to Atty. Noel Beja of the City Legal Office, this is because the lot owner has not yet submitted the needed extrajudicial papers. Because of this, he said the city cannot establish the other heirs and co-owners.
One of the land owners informed the committee that the title of the property has not been partitioned. (cli)
