Dahino said for the past few decades, no coordination between two parties that could be another factor of unsolved clogging-up condition of all drainage in the city.

Limpyo na unta tanan and ready na for any disaster or flashflood that might come. That should  be our thinking,” Dahino said.

For his part, Engr. Leowald Pecore, DPWH 10 chief for planning division, admitted that district DPWH office has not coordinated with the local government in all their regular activities in cleaning canals along the national highways.

Ang problema ani kay gi-koveran sa semento ang old canals to have a bigger highway,” he said. (Lito Rulona)
