THE Diamond Division, based here, is urging the young people of Northern Mindanao to take the Philippine Military Academy’s (PMA) entrance examination this coming Sunday, August 2.

For Region 10 applicants the examination centers will be at the 4th Infantry Division’s Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Barangay Patag, this city, while applicants from Caraga Region may take the exams in Agusan National High School in Butuan City.

Walk-in applicants may start applying today, August 1 at the Army Recruitment Office (ARO) in Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Walk-in applicants are advised to bring any valid identification (ID) cards.

Application form must be properly filled-up and must be submitted together with the applicant’s NSO copy of their birth certificate and two pieces 2×2 ID picture with white background to be submitted to the PMA Entrance Exam Proctor Team.

Furthermore, all applicants must be at least a high school graduate, at least five feet tall for both male and female, single, and must be 18 to 21 years old on April 1, 2016, the start of school year in PMA.

The PMA Entrance Examination aims to measure the mental ability of the applicants in the subjects included in the package of the examination questioner, such as; Math (Algebra and Geometry), English (Grammar, Composition, and Reading Comprehension), Abstract Reasoning, (Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis. Examinees are advised to make sure that requirements are complete before proceeding to their designated examination centers.

MGen Oscar T Lactao, Commander of 4th Infantry Division said, “We urge all patriotic youth not only in Northern Mindanao who are willing to serve our country to take the PMA Entrance Examination and join the noble profession of arms.
