Iligan City — In separate statements to media, both the Department of Interior and Local Government the local police here said they do not have the list of barangay officials who are allegedly involved in illegal drugs.
Elizabeth Bona, of the city DILG said if there is such a list, they do not have it.
City Police Director Leony Roy Ga, for his part, also denied having such list and pointed instead to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, since it is the agency responsible for making such a list..
Earlier, Rep. Frederick Siao of the lone district of this city dared PDEA Director Aaron Aquino to go public with their “narco-list” if there is any so that the voters would be guided.
Siao also said it would also give those in the list to clear their names.
