Over Magnum Radio, Emano said he was recovering and that he was finalizing his party’s list of candidates in the city and province next year.

“Puro lamang kana pagpangdaut sa akong mga kaatbang, hapit naman gud ang eleksyon,” said Emano, adding that he was merely brought to a hospital on the advice of his children who wanted him to undergo a general medical check-up.

The admitting section of the Capitol University Medical City earlier confirmed that Emano was rushed to the hospital’s emergency room at 10:30 am Sept. 19, and then placed in the intensive care unit (ICU). The firsthand hospital information was never disowned by CUMC, and was left unquestioned by Emano, his family, and partymates.

“Check-up lamang daan kay dili na unya maka-pa checkup pagsugod sa kampanya,” Emano said.

He said it was all systems go for the Padayon Pilipino, and he and other would-be candidates were just waiting for the date of the filing of certificates of candidacy.

“Naa pa gani sobra nga mga candidate nga andam mopuli kung kinsa kadtong dili modayon. Wala na’y problema,” Emano said. (lito rulona)
