Gingoog City — Authorities here have continued its mission to go against drug syndicates and were able to arrest a couple in a buy-bust operation Sunday morning at Barangay Lunao, here.
Chief Insp.Duyle Vembu Buenaflor, Chief of the Operation Section of the Gingoog City Police Station, identified the suspects as Rey Domen Bentulan, 28 and common law wife Hanna Legaspi, of legal age, both residents at Purok 1 of Baragay Lunao, this city.
The couples were arrested at about 10 am said Buenaflor who led the operations.
The police team confiscated from the suspects six sachets of suspected shabu including one used as buy-bust item, Buenaflor added.
The suspects were arrested by the police within 15 minutes of buy-bust operation that started at about 9:45 am up to 10 am of the same date said Chief of Police Senior Supt. Roel Lamiing.
“It was the shortest buy-bust operation we’ve ever had in the city, so far, Buenaflor said.
