Northern Mindanao Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Special Enforcement Team arrested a 44-year old woman in a buy-bust operation at Mega Heights Subdivision, Barangay Gusa, this city.

PDEA Acting Assistant Regional Director, Charlene R Magdurulang identified the suspect as Arlene Dahl Ejem Tan, 44 years old, and a target-listed drug personality.

Seized from the suspect were two sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 4.5912 grams.

Also recovered during the arrest was one P500 bill with serial number GJ51934 used as buy-bust money.

The pieces of evidence were forwarded to PDEA-10 Laboratory Section for quantitative and qualitative examinations, while the suspect is currently detained at PDEA-10 detention cell for booking and documentation.

Meanwhile, elements of Police Station No. 2 – SDEU led by Senior Insp. Jason Cabamungan Sto Domingo, deputy station commander conducted a buy-bust operation early Wednesday morning.

Sto. Domingo identified the suspect as Albina Ragmac, 49 yrs old, widow, and a resident of 027 Zone-2, Barangay Carmen, this city.

The buy-bust operation resulted in the confiscation of one sachet containing alleged shabu marked as BB-RCR 01-16-18, bearing the signature of the seizing officer and the recovery of the buy-bust money, three P100 bills bearing SN: DE760064, AX073926, and GC544938.

Also recovered from the possession of the suspect were six sachets of alleged shabu and one big sachet containing suspected shabu.

The tagging, marking, and inventory of the seized items was witnessed by Sunny Ray Cahayag, Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Carmen, this city and in the presence of the suspect. The suspect is now in the custodial facility of Police Station No. 2 Mini Cell.

Cases for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filling in court against the suspect.
