DTI holds seminar for Linamon MSMEs

The Department of Trade and Industry in Lanao del Norter in collaboration with the LGU of Linamon conducted the seminar on Marketing Strategies & Simple Bookkeeping to eiltrepreneurs from the processed food sector, trading & services and Agri-business, and some potential entrepreneurs of the municipality.

The seminar provided the participants insights on the various strategies which can be used to improve sales and marketing of the products and services offered.

They were made aware of the importance of knowing the market segment understanding them and influence them to buy and buy more.

Learning the marketing strategies for Product, Place, Pricing and Promotion will enable them to supply a bigger market and be more profitable.

The lecture on Simple Bookkeeping included the Importanca of Bookkeeping, Symbols of Bookkeeping and How to keep accounting records. The workshop for Simple Bookkeeping was a hands-on experience on the proper identification and recording of financial transactions.

The participants were provided with hand-outs and journals for their use in recording ffansactions pertaining to their businesses.

A positive feedback from the participants was gathered and they hope to avail more assistance/services from DTI on MSMEs business development and capacity building. pr
