A FISHERFOLK association has been accredited in the city’s Local Special Bodies (LSB).
The City Council adopted a resolution accrediting the Federation of Coastal Barangay Fisherfolks Association of Cagayan de Oro City (Fedcobafac) for the purpose on Monday.
This is pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2016-97 and Article 64, Rule XIII of the Rules and Regulations implementing the 1991 Local Government Code, or funding its project from the city or other sources as required under a Commission on Audit circular.
The committees on agriculture and fisheries and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Annie Daba and Ian Mark Nacaya endorsed the resolution. (cli)
