ANOTHER body was found floating in the waters off Macabalan, this city, yesterday morning.
Police said the identity of the dead man remained unclear although a bar worker came forward and told investigators that she knew him only as Kim who worked as informal parking aide in Divisoria.
Macabalan councilor Cedric Abejo said fishermen found the body floating near the shoreline.
The body was already in an advanced state of decomposition, said Senior Insp. Stephen Benbian of the Macabalan police.
Benbian said investigators examined the body and found no wound.
But he said police questioned the theory that it was a case of drowning “kay wala man giburot ang tiyan timailhan nga wala nakainum siyag tubig.”
Police said the body may have been thrown into the sea.
The bar worker named Juvy said “Kim” was a frequent guest in the Cruz Taal St. bar where she works, and he was a “troublemaker” and “toughie.”
“Mahilig na siyag sampa og naay mag inum bisan wala siya giimbitar. Kung hubog na magmaoy na dayon,” she told the police.
