FISHERMEN found a dead man floating in the waters off Parola, Macabalan yesterday morning. Investigators, who came to examine the body, said there was no sign of foul play.
PO3 Kenneth Montaño of the Macabalan police said the dead man remained unidentified at presstime. Montaño said police suspected that the man was not from Macabalan.
“Wala may naka-ila niini nga tawo dinhi, ug wala man poy missing person dinhi sa Macabalan,” Montaño said. Scene of the Crime Operatives medico-legal officer Christian Caballes said he examined the body, and found no wound. There were traces of blood in the nose, suggesting that the man may have drowned, he
