Police operatives from the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station (KMPS) managed to arrest individuals engaged in illegal drugs trades.

In a report submitted to the Police Regional Office 10 over the weekend, Insp. George Repalda of KMPS arrested four persons having a shabu session at Purok 4, West Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon province on Saturday.

Repalda said a call received from Lambat Sibat volunteer and Barangay Intelligence tipped them off about the shabu session.

He said they immediately conducted by entrapment operation and proceeded to the area to verify the tip and successfully arrested John Rey Navarro, 21, and a resident of Spring Village, Pangantucan, Bukidnon;  Roel Alviso, 40, a resident of P-2 Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon; Emilda Ali, 45, separated and a resident of East Kili-kili, Wao Lanao Del Sur; Elizabeth Mabala, 47, separated and a resident of P-3 Central, Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon

Repalda said all the suspects were caught in the act smoking shabu in a make shift room owned by certain Marilou Cartel.

Seized and confiscated from their possession and control were: Five sachets of suspected shabu, in different sizes; three opened sachets of suspected shabu; five disposable lighters; 11 strips of aluminum foil, four improvised aluminum foil tooters; one improvised plastic scoop; and two improvised bamboo stick clips.

Further investigation disclosed that the two –– namely Roel Alviso and Elizabeth Mabala are on the station’s drug wachtlist.
