In his radio program “Ang Baruganan” over the weekend, Gan said the imposition of new rules to the ambulant vendors in Cogon Public Market is considered as unfair, one-sided, imbalanced and unjust.

Nacaya, who chairs of the City Council Committee on Markets imposed new rules over the sidewalk vendors.

In a press statement, he claimed that two weeks after ambulant vendors’ stalls and other materials were confiscated and dismantled, streets around the vicinity of Cogon Market are now widely passable to commuters and vehicles.

He claimed that the streets around Cogon Market have a lot of pedestrians daily and that the city government did it to enhance traffic flow within the area.
