Gingoog cops arrest Taguig rape, child molesting suspect

Gingoog City — Authorities arrested over the weekend a wanted person charged with rape and child sexual abuse in Barangay San Miguel, here.

Senior Supt. Roel Lami-ing, Gingoog chief of police, said they arrested one Bellerin N. Abad, 31, a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Kipuntos, this city on Saturday.

He committed a crimes in Taguig City years ago said Sr.Supt Lami-ing

The suspect was arrested through a warrant of arrest issued by PresidingJudge Leili Cruz Suarez of  RTC-NCR, Branch 163, in Taguig City.

He was charged with 3 Counts and Child (Sexual) abuse under sec. 5(b) of 1st phrase of R.A 76109 in relation to Sec.5(j) of R.A 83609 docketed as follows : Criminal Case No. 1572097 with no bail bond recommended.

The suspect will be transported back to Taguig City next week said Lami-ing

Lami-ing said the wanted person was arrested through information gathered from barangay residents.
