A Department of Education (DepEd 10) official admired the Provincial Government’s strong support to 349 elementary and 81 secondary schools in Misamis Oriental to make the Brigada Eskwela 2017 a success.
DepEd 10-Balingasag District Supervisor Ms. Maylinda Vequezo said she was very happy that Governor Bambi Emano spared them time to personally hand over a total of P3 million checks to the teachers during the flagaising ceremony at the Provincial Capitol Grounds yesterday.
Governor Emano, Chairman of the Local School Board, said he supports any effort of the Department of Education, “because I know it is for the good of the people of the province.”
“Ever since (during my stint as Governor), si DepEd 10 Superintendent Dr. Cherry Limbaco, wala gayud kami magbingkil, because whatever she proposes, I make it to the point to approve it,” Emano added. (pio misor)
