ILIGAN City–The Department of Health (DOH) has granted P100 million to improve the Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital.

Verne Padilla of the office of the lone congressional district of Iligan City revealed that the grant was obtained through the efforts and representation of Rep. Frederick Siao.

He said of the said amount P80 million would be spent for infrastructure development while P20 million would be for hospital equipment.

He also disclosed that the DOH has approved the establishment of a Northern Mindanao Medical Center-Annex (NMMC-Annex) on a lot to be provided by the local government of Iligan.

He, however, said city hall has yet to identify a suitable local government-owned land for the proposed NMMC-Annex. (frank dosdos jr.)
