Sean Actub, the chairman of the city’s Anti-Littering Task Force, said the group would go strict in the enforcement of President Duterte’s executive order.

For the first offense, the smoker would be fined P500, P1,000 for the second offense, and jailed for the third offense, he said.

Actub said the task force has started a public awareness campaign aimed at warning smokers against smoking in public places.

Based on EO 26, smoking is no longer allowed except in designated smoking areas that follow guidelines set by  the EO that was signed by Duterte on May 16.
