Iligan City — A jilted young man attempted to end his life but survived.
According to the records of the Don Gregorio Lluch Memorial Hospital under Dr. Cherlina Canaveral, the man was identified as Bryan Simbahon, 19, jobless, resident of San Miguel barangay this city.
It was learned that at around 7 am of Feb. 19, the man was found hanging himself with a wire used to hang clothes. Concerned neighbors who saw him then rushed him to said hospital.
He is now in stable condition and recuperating from the incident. It was learned that his live-in partner had separated from him.
