A KOREAN will have to spend the holidays in jail after police arrested him in a drug buy-bust operation Thursday afternoon.
Divisoria Deputy Chief, Insp. Rutherford Odin identified the Korean suspect as Dong Young Kim, 63, and resides in a condo unit at Hotel Koresco.
Odin said, with the intelligence group, they arrested the Korean at Laurence Inn in Capistrano St., this city, at about 1:20 pm, yesterday.
Odin added the Korean was caught in the act of selling suspected shabu.
Seized from the Korean were one sachet of suspected shabu estimated to weigh about 1.5 grams, and P2,000 cash used as marked money for the buy-bust operation.
The Korean is currently detained at the Divisoria Police Station.
In an interview with the Gold Star Daily, however, the Korean denied selling illegal drugs.
He claimed he was framed up.
