THE City Council committee on public utilities chaired by Councilor Teodulfo Lao, Jr. approved a resolution interposing no objection to the resolution of the Oro Transport Service Cooperative. The cooperative has signified its desire to operate public utility vehicle modernization complaint vehicles on the developmental route in Cagayan de Oro City using the coastal road.
According to Lao, he approved the request because it will help in the development of the cooperative.
He said it will not be a problem with regards to the traffic situation of the city since their route will only cover the newly-opened coastal road. It will also lessen the hassle of passengers who live in remote areas inaccessible by vehicles, Lao added. (cli)
