The first round of household  Asessment was conducted in 2009.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) clarifies to the public that the household assessments conducted were purposely for data gathering and not for possible inclusion to the PantawidPamilyang Pilipino Program (PantawidPamilya) or any government program.

This clarification was made due to the rising number of questions regarding Listahanan’s household assessment.

The data gathered during the Second Round Assessment will serve as  the database of who and where the poor households are in the region and will be the basis for other government agencies and stakeholders in identifying potential beneficiaries for their various social protection programs and services.

To date, 652,657 households have been assessed and  491,267 households encoded to the database system.

For those households who have not been assessed,  enumerators will be assessing them during the validation phase sometime this  August. (pia 10)
