Iligan City — A live-in couple were discovered shot dead inside their home at Brgy. Roosevelt this city Wednesday.
Responding operatives from Police Station 5 found the lifeless bodies of Elena Dunting Acuram, 46, and her live-in partner known only as “Danny.”
Acuram was discovered on the couple’s stairs while “Danny” was discovered sprawled in bed in a pool of blood.
The couple both sustained multiple gunshot wounds from a .45 and 9mm pistols to their heads.
According to Nietzche Largo, purok president, at about 10:00 pm, Tuesday, he witnessed seeing at least six persons entering the Acuram residence. Largo added he could not make out the faces of the suspects since all of them wore face masks.
Minutes after the suspects entered the house, Largo said, the entire neighborhood heard gunshots. Immediately after the gunshots, he added, the suspects fled in different directions.
Personnel of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco), led by PSI Dieyrel Reuyan recovered three empty shells of a 9mm pistol, three empty shells from a .45 pistol, and five deformed bullet slugs.
Beside the dead bodies were suspected shabu. The motive of the twin-killings are still unknown.
PO1 Ambo Sumaylo, on-duty investigator said they will conduct further investigation on the twin-killing.
