Matalam, Cotabato — Matalam Police has arrested two high-valued targets in an anti-drug bust operation in Purok Krislam, Poblacion, here.
Authorities identified the suspects as Nai Maka-bual, 29, and Ulam Bai Makanaka, 30, both are live-in partners.
The couple were caught in possession of three sachets of suspected shabu and a grenade.
The operation was carried out under three warrants issued by Judge Alexander Betoya of the Kabacan Regional Trial Court.
They are now detained in the police detention cell and are facing charges in violation of R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, R.A 9516 or the illegal possession of firearms and explosives.
