ILIGAN City — Deputy commanders of the Joint Task Force Ranaw Col. Romeo Brawner said the Maute group has been sending “surrender feelers” as the army closes in on the Isis-inspired group.
“Paliit ng paliit ang area nila,” said Brawner, adding that only about 10 hectares are already controlled by the Maute Group which is equivalent to only one barangay. (Nora Soriño)
