MILLENNIALS ARE: Reckless. Reckless in the sense that they are irresponsible on what they post, they are unaware that they could hurt someone, even themselves but also the generation now we can be reckless because we are thirsty for positive vibes, positive energy.

YOLO CONCEPT: It depends on the perception on how you interpret it, it can be associated with guilty pleasures and also that you would be up for anything. I grab every opportunity I don’t like to stay on the four corners I would love to expand so that is how I adapt the you only live once concept but do it with character be guided by your own principles.

LOVES DRAMA: I hate drama, I don’t like it when friends talk to me about their problems I get annoyed maybe because when I encounter certain difficulties in my life I make sure that I resolve it as soon as possible. On a different sense I do notice that this generation grew up with reality shows that’s why it is being adapted. You get back what you give that’s why successful people in the media really don’t give to much information just happy vibes.

RELIGION & FAITH: There’s lack of education, lately a lot of churches have been multiplying and that is a very good sign, being a born again it is not a religion although you are allowing some doctrine to renew your faith because of these new ways. And I do believe God has his way of redeeming a little approach to help you just have to have faith.

MOBILE DEVICE ADDICT: Yes I am super addict, there’s two perspective of this it’s not bad if you are getting something out of it especially when it is connected with your work or you can get inspiration out of it, earn from it. But if you are just using these devices to stalk and judge someone than that is way out of line.

TRAVELLING: I get to hit two birds with one stone, I enjoy traveling for myself and for my traveling I could get that perfect shot. I am an addict to architectural places that’s what I am really looking forward to when I am traveling it makes me really happy to just analyze how it is amazed what materials were being used. It gives me the sense of tranquility that there is diversity in the world.

HEARTBREAK AND BEING LOST: You have to know your character before you decide to be with someone because both of you has his/her own personality traits. It comes to a point where lessons are made to learn and not to be repeated. I was lost during the relationship not after if it weren’t for me getting stuck at that relationship I would have made it farther than from where I am now. I became whole again after we broke up, God has his reason of putting you on where you should be.

WEALTH: It’s how you use the money, but it can be as easy as seeing money as a tool to travel.

JOB/CAREER: I am very happy with my job, I am grateful that all of my bosses are very supportive but I have to say that I earned my work that’s the problem with millennials they forget to earn their stripes, they demand but they really don’t own it.

POLITICAL VIEWS: I am concerned for the welfare of the country but it came to a point where I get annoyed about all this political feeds on my social media account, all the ranting, the fights, the debate I would rather not include myself in that kind of fiasco since it really doesn’t affect my life. But there’s one thing I would for local officials to really work on it would be the tourism of Cagayan de Oro I am having a hard time entertaining guest here for we don’t have any tourism itinerary developed.

BALANCE IN LIFE: I crave for balance; I am a very organized person. I get dismayed when someone tells me they can’t do this because they are busy it’s just about time management and know your priorities.

TO MY CO-MILLENNIALS: Avoid toxic people in your life, people who gives you unnecessary drama or friends who talks about you behind your back. Find peers who support you on what you love to do and not hinder you. And also stay away from drama; drama is the worst formula for success.
