Gingoog City — Provincial Board Member-elect Wayne Militante was sworn into office yesterday morning during the inauguration and oath-taking ceremonies of the elected officials of the city at Arturo Lugod Gym here.
Regional Trial Court Judge Giovani Alfred H. Navarro administered the oath of office for Militante.
Re-elected City Mayor Marie Guingona and her mother Vice Mayor-elect Ruthie Guingona were also sworn to office before judge Navarro.
Meanwhile, Judge Eillen P. Bonghanoy administered the oath-taking of the newly elected members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
The inauguration and oath-taking program started with a holy eucharistic celebration thanksgiving mass celebrated Rev. Fr. Medallo Valmores.
City hall employees and other government and private sectors witnessed the event.
