Gingoog City — An four days missing 80-year-old man, who had been missing for four days, was found dead at Purok 4A in Barangay 20, this city.
Authorities identified the victim as Felizardo B. Sabuero.
Gingoog City Police Director Supt. Ariel Philip Pontillas discovered the old man lying lifeless at the grassy area near the Malu-bog river about 20 meters away from victim’s residence on Sunday.
In an investigation conducted by PO3 Keith Lester Javier, Gingoog Police Investigator, said the victim’s daughter Celeste Gorospe told him the victim had been missing since April 4.
The police desk received a phone called from concerned citizen reported about the matter and immediately the police team led by Pontillas responded.
Police found no trace of foul play of the victim’s body.
