The Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) National Multi-Purpose Cooperative will hold its 40th General Assembly this month, official said Tuesday.

MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative   chief executive officer Dr. Emma A. Nieva, in a statement sent to this paper said that the Assembly will be held by cluster on various dates on February 24 and 25, March 3, 4, 10 and 17 and 18, 2018 in different locations.

The MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative is a leading cooperative in this city and in the region.

It was established in 1978 yet, from a membership that was then limited to employees and workers

of the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, it had opened its doors to the public even as it had maintained quality members and the cooperative in terms of assets and memberships had grown by leaps and bounds.

Like any other cooperative, it grants loans to qualified members.

And it has other services to boast of, like insurance, accepting savings deposits and other kinds of deposits.
