Marawi City — In an interview with the Mindanao State University officer-in-charge, lawyer Jamaloden A. Basar, he said the approved Bangsamoro Organic Law, is the light at the end of the tunnel.

This, as he added that this may well be the last hope not only for the Muslims, but also for Christian and other tribes alike in Mindanao.

“This is really a chance for us to end or quell the rebellion and violence that had adversely affected the people here for several decades now. The MSU is the premier university in the Philippines  and is very supportive to BOL, especially in the educational side,” Basar said.

In fact, he added, since its creation, the MSU has been an effective instrument of government for peace and development.

“This University has established an Institute on Peace and Development. As such its doors are open to all people who love peace,” Basar said.
