According to the complainant, over 50  employees have not  received their supposed claims and benefits even as the labor dispute which they filed against their  employers were in their favor.

This matter, along with other issues, were reportedly brought to the attention of the Office of the Senate of the Philippines, as well as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) but,  have not been resolved until this time.

During the meeting,  a representative of the Korean employers manifested that his clients were not using “dummies” in their business permits as alleged by the complainants. Instead, he explained the conflicts/complications within the management over a certain property in Lumbia, which led to a dozen of cases filed in courts. Apparently, the complainant  even signed as one of the witnesses and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) can attest to this matter, he further clarified.

With regards to the alleged denial of benefits and claims, the representative pointed out that these are still subject to the decision of the Court of Appeals. (CLI)
