The suspected drug pusher’s arrest came after he allegedly tried to molest a nursing student who cried for help. Police identified the suspect as Edson Gunauyan, 30, of Barangay Hinaplanon.

He was believed to be under the influence of prohibited drugs when he dared to touch the private parts of a nursing student who cried for help, and alerted authorities nearby.

Lawyer Alex Cabornay, chief of the NBI-Iligan district office, frisked the suspects and found 24 sachets of suspected shabu.

Cabornay said the suspected drugs were believed ready for delivery when the suspect was caught. Cabo nay has decided to bring the suspect to the Regional Crime Laboratory for drug testing after getting the victim’s sworn statement. She said she would file a case against the suspect.
