NEWLY elected officers of the Cagayan de Oro Press Club (COPC) will take their oath of office at the Xavier Sports and Country Club tonight.
The inductees comprise the COPC’s 15-person board of directors who were elected in Feb. 10.
To be sworn in are Ruffy Magbanua, president; Ritchie Salloman, executive vice president; Allan Mediante, vice president for print; Ric Ociones, vice president for broadcast; Jigger Jerusalem, corporate secretary; Jao Gumapac, treasurer; and Philip Kenn Jaudian, auditor.
The other members of the board are Rene Abris, Tony Albania, Vic Cabanag, Joel Jacobo, Loui Maliza, Nicole Managbanag, Hanne Pisos and Fred Soriano.
The occasion would be graced by Rep. Virgilio Lacson of the Manila Teachers partylist, A Brown Company Inc. president and CEO Roel Castro, and AC Energy vice president Gabino Ramon Mejia.
